Development support

With the development support from the Finnish AVEK and YLE LPMA Productions is heading to New York this summer. We will be shooting our international participants in LASIKATTO The Invisible Made Visible, a creative documentary film directed by Mari Soppela. We will interview the legendary journalist Ms Charlayne Hunter-Gault, among others.

Docpoint Impact Day

Producers Julia Ton and Mari Soppela pitched the documentary film Lasikatto – The Glass Ceiling on the very first DocPoint IMPACT Day in Helsinki. The event, held at the University of Helsinki, attracted an impressive of 175 participants including funds, companies, NGOs, scholars, experts and filmmakers.

Julia and Mari had the opportunity to meet interesting partners, such as TANE – The Council for Gender Equality, Lipstick Mafia, Nordic West Office and Millennial Board
